Our silent line-up was originally developed in response to customer demand. Contrary to popular belief, a quiet system doesn't risk overheating, or require liquid cooling. A good quiet system is really about smart component selection and overall attention to detail. Our quiet systems are designed around maximizing the airflow throughout the system, and reducing the number of overall fans required. The extra-large fans we use circulate more air than traditional fans, and do it while spinning slower to reduce noise. Hard drives are also a potential source of noise, so this system includes a noise dampening enclosure for the primary hard drive. While a second drive is an option, we recommend against it if you want the quietest system possible.
