Is it sticky? Or does it have the same smooth finish? Here's my recommendation - Get 2 bottles of varnish. One gloss and one matte. Most people would only do a double coat of matte, but here's my secret tip:

Do a full coat of gloss varnish. Then do the second (and maybe third) coat of matte. Then, you'll know when the varnish is rubbing off because the controller starts to have a shine to it. That's when it's time to revarnish! Otherwise, you find out when the paint starts rubbing off on your hands.

I did 4 clear coats of gloss so no it is not sticky at all. But good tip. I will have to take that into account next time I do one of these (which is soon cause my friend wanted me to do one for him ^_^).

New Controller!! I call it the ESPN controller cause it looks just like the ESPN Mobile Phone. Pic doesn't show the red color like it really is.
