Hey all,
Please use this thread to report bugs and or suggestions with the new website redesign.
Thanks.
Looks great...
However, whenever I try to login to "my account", click on any of my "Your Saved Quotes and Orders" options, or click on the "Edit Account" option, I get an annoying message that says:
Security Warning
Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securly?
The webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage.
I'm viewing the page using "IE 8"... Maybe it's just me.
I also have another computer that runs "IE 6". In that browser I also get an annoying message, but this time it reads:
Security Information
This page contains both secure and nonsecure items.
Do you want to display the nonsecure items?
Those are the same basic message, just a bit of difference in the way IE6 and IE8 report it. Thank you for the heads-up!
Thanks for the report -- I believe that is fixed now.
Very nice home page. I just hope the site doesn't lose all of it's warm geeky charm.![]()
Some of our next changes hope to bring that geeky charm more to the forefront -- with our "Puget Says" heads, tech specs, and system galleries more prominent. We always welcome your feedback.
What a nice surprise it was to see the new home page. It is rare that you find a company who promises change, and then delivers on; Puget Systems proves once again that Customer Support is their number one rule.
I also agree that the last thing I want to see is the home page becoming glitzy and fall of the eye candy, like every other PC company out there.
Thanks again for the new look, I can't wait to see what's planned for the rest.
It's better to be late than never, that is why I would like to extend my congratulations for the new look of the website. Company who knows how to listen to their customers suggestions is a good sign of a company that can be trusted. I like the fonts used in the Puget, web designers would usually advise for newbies to stick on classic fonts to make the web page clear, but I am glad the you added some spunk.
