    Default Forum Timeouts

I'm not sure if this is doable or not, but being able to change when the forum automatically logs the user off would be useful. For instance, since I am not using my computer in a public place, I may not require the forum to log me out as often, so it would be nice if I could increase that window. Instead of ten minutes, I'd probably place my settings at 15 or 20 minutes. It's not entirely a huge deal, but having to log in multiple times, especially if I'm writing a particularly long post, gets to be a nuisance. Does anyone else share this opinion?

Hmm, I wonder if there is a setting for that - either on the forums or in your browser - as I only have to log in again every few days (both here at work and at home). I'm not sure where such a setting would be, though

Well, I was kind of hoping that it could be a setting that I change in my profile specifically, as I have my browser set to clear all cookies, cache, etc. when it exits. The reason I do this is to maximize security. When I was using Google Chrome, my history, cookies, etc. did not delete automatically, and I do believe this is how my WoW account was compromised. I am pretty certain that it is possible to obtain sensitive information from individuals through the registers on their RAM (I saw this done on Revision3 -- Hak5 I think).

I have been having this same problem. I keep getting logged out during my response time. Thank god that it tells you that there is a problem on the page and doesn't erase everything you just wrote. Changing the auto logout time would be very nice though, I mean 15 or 20 minutes would be good.
I am saying this because the last three posts I have made, I ended up having to copy my response, log in, and get back to the response to then paste the response I had written.

Thanks for the feedback. Our session timeout was set to 900 seconds (15 minutes). I've doubled it to 30 minutes. If you continue to have issues, is it possible you have cookies disabled?
