Default An Economical Computer for Computer Game Design(and some gaming on the sly)

I should point out right from the get go that my name is fairly accurate: I don't know much about what I want in a computer except RAM and HDD. But I do know that I want a 6 monitor system(But I'll probably get this later, to put more money into the computer itself). I want as Badass of a computer as I can get for around $2,500(But I'll be will to go a couple hundred more if it's absolutely necessary). If you can find ways to save me some money without cutting performance, that'd be great.

I most likely won't be getting the Computer for 3-5 years due to the fact that I'm still in high school and have no job, but I'm going to be graduating this year and will be getting a job shortly thereafter. it'll take a while before I have the money though. What kind of payment options do you guys have?

Edit: I would like the temp reader on the comp. How much would that set me back?

Default Hoping to Start a Home Business

It will be a Video Game Designing Firm. Obviously my most important investment will be the computer. I do own a computer, a two year old Gateway, that's okay but it's not what I would call reliable. It has its good and bad days. On a really bad day it goes BSOD about every twenty minutes. So I'll definitely need a new computer. To see what I hope to get go to the Thread, An Economical Computer for Computer Game Design(and gaming on the sly). If any of you guys have any advice I'd very thankful.

Edit: This was supposed to be a separate thread...

    Hi-

Welcome to the forums. The best thing to do is when you are ready to purchase a system, either configure a system on our site and send it to review or email sales@pugetsystems.com. Any suggest we have right now will likely change by the time you are ready to purchase your system. For a budget of $2500, you can definitely get a very good system for that amount.

We take all major credit cards and Paypal though I think you are asking about a payment plan option which we don't do. However, I believe if you purchase through PayPal, you can use their Bill Me Later feature and make monthly payments that way.

Temp readers don't cost that much...maybe $30-$40, but we don't find them to be very accurate or all that useful unless you just want an generally idea of your system temp. Better to just use a software utility that can read the temperature readings of your mobo, graphics card, etc...Those can be had for free.

Really I was only testing the waters here at Puget. I literally learned about your company's existence Saturday. Everything here seems too perfect. There should be a few examples of Employees slouching off and I've yet to see evidence of such behavior: it's very disconcerting. It's great to hear don't get me wrong but very disconcerting. How does Jon keep you guys in line? *Pulls out whip*

Is there anything necessary to include in the computer configuration for a multi monitor set up? I want to make a 6 monitor set up with this comp.
