We are confident that the more informed you are, the more you see that many online computer retailers simply do not take the time to correctly configure a system for your needs. Specifically, there are two things we need to know in order to make solid recommendations for you:
1) What will you be using the computer to do?
2) What is your target budget?

"I just received my new Puget Systems computer and I couldn't be happier, both with the machine (which operated flawlessly out of the box and was astoundingly well packaged and organized) and the assistance provided by everyone I dealt with at Puget Systems (especially William George, my sales rep). I'd never ordered a computer online before and was frankly a little nervous about the whole process. But the experience I've had with Puget so far honestly couldn't be better. I must have changed my mind and sent them over a dozen emails asking all kinds of stupid questions before and after the sale, and every question I had was patiently and knowledgably answered. I spent more money than I would have if I'd gone with some other vendors or tried to build it myself, but so far the experence has more than made up for the difference in cost. I did experience some frustration at first with video quality in some games, but after some research and fiddling with settings in the games and on the Nvidea display manager in windows, I don't think it has anything to do with the video card itself - just settings I need to optimize. There may be some other folks out there that do custom gaming computers as well as Puget, but you'd be hard pressed to find anybody who combines such attention to detail and quality with top-notch and respectful service. Five stars, all the way!"

"Since my first system in the early 80s, I've always assembled my own systems. After some thought, I decided it was time to give that up and started looking around for a reputable vendor that would give me a custom system that would meet my expectations. Things weren't looking good at first so I started putting together the component list for building it myself when I found a review talking about Puget systems. I did my due diligence and found excellent reviews and a clean, easy-to-use site for custom systems. After finding almost all the components I had specced out, I sent in my "check this" order and got a reply just a few hours later from Brett. He had reviewed the system and made some suggestions (which I agreed with) and we went forward with the order. Honestly, I was nervous about getting a system that wasn't going to meet my demands. I need not have worried. Regular updates, temperature and benchmarks baselines, pictures of assembly... it was all there to let me know exactly what was going on with my new system. Once in hand, the system was up and running without any hassles whatsoever and it's been humming ever since. Well, kinda humming -- the dang thing is so quiet, it's hard to tell it's on. I won't be building my own systems anymore. I did a great job on building systems for the last 30 years. Puget is better."

"This was my first experience having a custom computer built, and everyone at Puget Systems made it so easy. Brett helped me pick out components that would meet my needs (video editing / graphic design in Adobe Creative Suite 5.5), and just as importantly, stay within my budget. The customer service from first contact through final delivery was nothing short of exceptional. This was a refreshing change, after years of dealing with the "service" from big-name computer companies. My system was well packaged for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. The included binder and notes helped make the set-up in my office totally headache-free. I was up and running in less than 30 minutes after unboxing. I would definitely make Puget my first choice for any future computer systems."

"I'm very happy with your company's service and the quality of your computers. I was thrilled to receive my new Serenity desktop a few days ago. It was a big jump for me because I was giving up on Apple products (iMacs in particular) and wanted to try Windows 7, which has worked out quite well. Here is some feedback on your performance: Great website; easy to use and navigate Great customer support; I liked the way the sales person came up on chat in couple of minutes to ask if I needed assistance. Good tracking of the computer as it was built; status kept me informed of the progress. The picture of the computer was a nice touch. Computers are very professionally built; almost like a work of art when I opened up the case to remove the packing foam. Products are exactly as advertised; the Serenity is very quiet, not like the Dell desktop I had several years ago. The computer was professionally packed; it arrived in perfect working order. No bloat! No unnecessary programs on the computer The recovery disks were a nice touch. Ever try to do a clean reinstall of Windows XP. It's a two day project! Here's the bottom line. If someone wants a cheap, discount computer, you are not the place to shop. If someone wants a custom built computer at a fair price and with a whole lot of extra value, you're the ones I recommend. Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2012."

"I am in absolute love! I had one of those "power supply dies, kill hard drives because the voltage went down the wrong rail" kind of failures on a five year old custom desktop. Now, I had been beating up the desktop pretty hard by running several programs at once, including Adobe Photoshop CS4, to the point of making it gasp, so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. I started doing my research and kept coming back to Puget Systems for various reasons, including the fact that they are relatively local, they had the name brand parts I wanted, and their configuration screen was relatively easy to work with. What sold me was the customer service. After working with the configuration screen and not coming up with what I exactly wanted, I left a detailed story on their customer contact form on the weekend and by Monday evening, I had a response from Daniel with a quote for a machine. We discussed a few things and came up with a machine that had one, maybe two changes, from the original. Every communication that I've had with Daniel and the rest of the Puget Staff has been top notch. I haven't felt talked down to, bedazzled with fancy tech terms, made to feel like I didn't know what I was talking about, or have this sinking feeling that the person I was dealing with was reading from some canned script. Instead I knew I was dealing with real people with technical knowledge who understood and respected my level of technical expertise. When I finally placed the order, I loved being able to watch the build progression online and know exactly where my machine was at. I felt like I was virtually there. The computer being packaged within a 50 pound box within a box set up so that the computer case looked immaculate and the computer worked the first time as expected was phenomenal. I could go on and on about all the good things that Puget did . . .. It's enough to say that at one week and one day, I am very pleased with my computer and I have yet to make it gasp."

"" About a year ago, a "day-trader" friend of mine ask me to help him find the best system his money could buy. He wanted lightning fast multicore processing as he was going to be tied into Wall street live. A little confused I said "what exactly are you doing on Wall Street" ? " He said he trades live through an incredibly fast T1 or T3 type service that he was having installed in his house 300 miles from Wall Street. " He said "Mike I need the fastest most reliable computer you could get built for me. I need 6 monitors. I need lots of storage space and a backup system in place in case I crash " I can't be down for more than a few minutes. It would be disasterous ! Well I decided to go with Puget systems.------ Best decision of my life !!!! They are the best ! From the first sales contact to just now when I called Tech support, I am absolutely blown away by their courteous and knowledgeable staff. The quality of their computers. The attention to detail and many other attributes. I rate these folks as 10++++ Their machine is incredible ! My client had a power failure and like so many foolish consumers, failed to purchase a UPS. So his computer went down right in the middle of it's daily backup procedure. As with any computer, it went down hard and some boot data got corrupted. No problem for Scott or Christopher at Puget. A phone call from me to them and in 10 minutes we completely restored my friends system. Incredible ! It used to take hours to do what we did in 10 minutes. Absolutely perfect. I could not ask for better !!!! Thank You I don't know what else to say except "we'll be back" to purchase another system soon."

"My company utilizes Puget as our sole source vendor for most of our data collection servers for the last 3 years. These servers are used for bleeding edge R&D projects. Although I've built systems for 20 years William George has saved me from making minor & major mistakes in our hardware configurations. Puget saves us money & time by not having to qualify our basic hardware & by helping us to not make design mistakes. I've always been impressed by the quality & depth of their build services as well as the quality of the technical knowledge of Puget's employees. Make no mistake: if you're in the market for a custom PC, Puget is the world's greatest custom PC builder."

"Where to begin.... At five years my old computer, while fairly well equipped, was beginning to show its age. What I really wanted was a unit built specifically to address my needs in dealing with some rather large projets in Photoshop CS5, LR3, and Premier, as well as some fairly intensive HDR , Panorama applications... Over the last 25 years I have dealt with the "big" computer manufacturers, foreign based (or virtually non-existent) Customer Service, seemingly endless phone waits, representatives that seemed genuinely offended that I didn't hold a Masters Degree in Computer Sciences, and with units that were stamped out like so many cookies. I also tried a "custom" business on the East Coast that, at the time, had a good reputation... Unfortunately, as is often the case with rapid expansion, their product reliability in general and customer service in particular has really taken a hit. Make one myself?... An invitation to disaster!... Good at using them, yes... building them, no! In my search (and an attempt to catch up with today's technology) I began to see a good deal of input on a business called Puget Systems. . The more I looked and read... the more I liked what I saw. Their web site was extremely professional, well laid out, and very informative. No glitz and flashing signs or "fluff over substance". The ratings for this Puget Systems were/are fantastic... With almost a thousand direct customer reviews in one source I couldn't find one that was other than "five stars". A common thread in every personal account was the " outstanding customer service and the build philosophy of the company".. My original e-mail inquiry was answered the same day by William George. Thus began a two week correspondence between the two of us relative to my needs. William was incredibly well versed on the various options open to me and even made suggestions relative to my build that ended up giving me better performance, less "overkill", and a cost saving. While he was obviously knowledgeable enough to "bury me in technicalities" William addressed my needs and explained his reasoning in a manner that was easily understood by someone beginning to suffer far more "senior moments" than I would like to admit. There was no "sales pitch", no rushing, no pressure to buy, and no question was ever regarded as to small to address. Patience, professionalism, and knowledge... a powerful combination! Equally impressive was the content of the Puget Systems web site. In looking at the various models it was refreshing to be able to click on a component and have a window come up with comments from the staff on exactly why that unit/part was selected/recommended, their experience with it, and other important information. The final price of the unit was more than reasonable considering its components. I came away from my discussions and research with the feeling that I was getting a well though out, compatible, and extremely powerful system with a company that was willing to back up its reliability. The ordering process was painless (aside from the slight change in my $ balance) and it was enjoyable to be able to follow the fabrication and testing of my own unit on-line... Again, the result of a great site and obvious company pride. I elected to travel the 100 miles from my home to take delivery directly from Puget Systems... On arrival, William was there to meet me and I had a chance to meet other staff members as well. The computer was hooked up and running. I was shown that all the special configurations of discs, partitions, and OS installation had been done as we had discussed. The interior of the unit showed that a great deal of attention to detail and pride had gone into the assembly. I was also supplied with complete Benchmark and testing results, the unit is pre-setup for expansion of drives and the like... all the necessary parts and cables are included. When I arrived home and began the dreaded transfer of data, photos, and installation of applications I fount that it was actually fun (?) . When I got Photoshop CS5 and LightRoom 3 installed I couldn't resist doing some "tests"... All I can say is "WOW!". I had timed some previous photo processing actions on one fairly large file with my old unit... 18 sec. Same action on the new unit...3 sec! Let's just say "It is fast". I couldn't be happier with Puget Systems, their staff, and their product. I will buy there again and will highly recommend them to anyone considering a step-up in quality, performance, and service. Maybe not the largest company in the U.S. but certainly among the very best!"

"To encounter a company that takes quality and customer service as imperatives is rare in the fierce competition of the PC arena – Puget Systems does. The Serenity model delivered: silent and swift. Other observations on this Serenity that is used primarily for financial analysis with Excel: - There was no effort to sell me hardware I did not need - The prices are fair - My questions about the final system were answered by Jeff who was knowledgeable, patient and courteous - The system was built and tested over a holiday, shipped on a Monday, reflecting a serious work ethic - The shipping package is by far the most carefully thought out I have seen - The computer arrived intact after a flight from the West Coast to the Gulf Coast - Quality parts and meticulous cabling were a welcome sight - The software was installed and updated with current patches and drivers - A Rescue Disk was included with the all parts and extensive documentation The list goes on. This was not a minimum configuration, a sizzling i7, 16 G of memory, a SSD primary drive, a 2 T secondary internal disk, and a potent graphics card. I have yet to hear a fan crank up. The Serenity is not just quiet, it is silent. An ideal office machine. There may be other companies that can match Puget Systems quality and service but I haven’t found them."
