The Puget Systems Traverse line of laptops is built around a combination of performance and mobility. This 17-inch version of the Traverse has a full HD screen (1920x1080) along with room for two 2.5-inch internal drives and an optical drive. A caddy is available, upon special request, to allow a third internal drive in place of the optical as well. It utilizes Intel’s mobile Ivy Bridge processors, which are very efficient and have built-in graphics capability, along with a NVIDIA GeForce video card. The system will switch back and forth between the two display controllers depending on what you are doing, so that you have access to higher-speed graphics when needed but power and battery life aren’t wasted when more mundane tasks are being run.
