Western Digital's Caviar Black line of hard drives offer amazing performance for a 7200rpm hard disk, alongside relatively large capacities. These make excellent boot drives, as well as fast storage for things like video editing. In trade the drives make a little more noise than other WD models, but still less than many other drives on the market.
