Puget Systems Professional Advice
Wilson Chau (Customer Service) Says: Good case, I'm just not hot on the front panel vents. I would have preferred it just be a mini-me of it's big brother P180. Its a minor knock for me, but overall a very smooth, quiet, and slick m-ATX case.
Daniel Brown (Customer Service) Says: The Antec Mini P180 is a really great Micro ATX chassis. The price has gone down on this chassis and I think it's an awesome deal now - a better value than even the Silverstone TJ-08 which is it's primary competitor, in my mind.
It has really good airflow for it's size, and should be able to easily cool almost anything you can fit inside at stock clock speeds. It also has the noise reduction technologies we've become familiar with on the full-size Antec P18x series such as the silicon grommets for hard drive mounting, and the triple-layer side panels. If you are setting up a top-of-the-line Micro-ATX machine, I recommend this chassis.
Matt Bach (Puget Labs Manager) Says: Since the release of the Serenity Mini, this case has been quickly growing in popularity. From a performance standpoint, it is very similar to the Antec P183. Its quiet, sturdy and has overall very good cooling. The one thing I do not like is that due to the design of the PCI card retention, you are not able to use cardkeepers in this case. Even with that minor issue, this case is easily my favorite Micro-ATX case.
John D. (Production Technician) Says: The Mini P180 is my top choice for a Micro-ATX mid-tower chassis. A lot of the features from the full-ATX P183 are found in the Mini P180, including multi-layer side panel construction, removable hard drive cages, and separate component bays to help isolate noise and direct airflow. The Mini P180 also offers great versatility. The option for an additional fan at the front allows for high-performance configurations, and there's great potential for extremely quiet configurations with AcoustiPack and quiet fans.
