Puget Systems Professional Advice William George (Customer Service) Says: Unlike the transition from the P180 to P182, with the new P183 the color has not changed: it is still a nice gunmetal grey. However, there are several other changes - both aesthetic and functional in nature - which differentiate this model from its predecessors. The new front design, both of the door itself and the bays behind the door, is intended to improve airflow; whether you like the appearance, though, is up to personal taste. On the inside one of the fans has been moved around to allow larger power supplies, which is nice, but now it is closer to the front of the case and might add a little bit to noise.
Personally I like the look of the older models more - but if you are going for a quiet system this series of cases from Antec is still the best choice I've found. With the liquid-cooling mod you trade a little bit of quietness for a substantial boost in cooling on the CPU and video card(s). This makes it a great platform for overclocking!
UPDATE: Antec is now on the third version of the P183, and has added some new features since its debut. The front eSATA has been replaced with single USB 3.0 port, which is nice as long as you have a motherboard that supports it, and there is a cutout on the motherboard tray to make accessing the back of the CPU socket easier.
