This 4-port RAID controller, from LSI, is built for situations where basic redundancy (RAID 1 / 10) or striping (RAID 0) is required - but funds are limited. It performs quite a bit behind the more expensive RAID cards we carry in terms of drive speed, but is among the most affordable hardware RAID solutions on the market... and for entry-level servers in particular can be an excellent choice to ensure reliability.
