Puget Description

The Crucial C300 solid-state drives are the first of their kind to use the new SATA 6Gb/s interface - allowing even faster sustained transfer speeds that previous SSDs. The capacity of these drives is also higher than many of the others on the market currently, with options for up to 256GB. If you are looking for a fast drive, but need more capacity that Intel's SSD line, consider putting a C300 in your next computer.

Puget Professional Advice
Jon Bach (President) Says:
This SSD is a newer addition to our line, so it is hard for me to vouch for it personally. But it is a great performer, and initial reviews and indications are very positive. If you prefer a safer route, go with an Intel X25-M drive -- it is a bit slower, but we've been selling those for quite some time, with excellent reliability.

Daniel Brown (Customer Support - Lead Technician) Says:
Even though this drive is faster, I personally would go with the Intel X25-M drive. Crucial has had some pretty severe firmware bugs with this drive, and I personally think the Intel X25-M SSD series is one of the few on the market that is really mature technology.

William George (Customer Service) Says:
This drive isn't as proven - yet - as Intel's X25 series, but if you need increased capacity or speed it may be a good choice. Sustained read and write speeds surpass Intel's current line of drives, and the capacity is more than 50% higher than Intel's top model (as of April 2010).
