This drive is definitely more expensive than some of the other options out there, but the performance is amazing! To me, SSD is for pure performance -- don't buy a cheaper, slower SSD drive when you can get a Velociraptor for cheaper and about the same performance. If you're going to go SSD, do it right with these Intel drives. If the price is stopping you, then SSD probably isn't for you right now.
