Asus P8P67 Pro REV 3.1 [ Rear Ports ][ Schematic ]
The Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard offers a great feature set, and is our flagship board for the Sandy Bridge processor launch. It includes USB 2.0, USB 3.0, eSATA, and Firewire ports for connectivity, along with built-in Bluetooth for wireless accessories. Because it uses the P67 chipset it does not support the GPU capabilities in Intel's socket 1155 processors, but instead has dual PCI-Express x16 slots for running dedicated video cards - with the option for either SLI or Crossfire setups as well. The use of that particular chipset also opens up options for overclocking Intel's K-series processors, which are specially designed with unlocked multipliers for just that purpose. This revision 3.1 uses a different model of USB 3.0 controller compared to the earlier revision 3.0 boards, but functionality is identical.
