The EVGA SuperNOVA 1600W is a massive, 80 PLUS Platinum-certified power supply unit. Like the other P2 models in the SuperNOVA line, it has completely modular wiring and a fan that only turns on under moderate to heavy load - so it is silent at idle / low load levels. However, when the fan does come on this particular model is somewhat noisy (much more so than the lower-wattage models).
