Asus GeForce GT 430 1GB Silent
The GeForce GT 430 is the entry-point on nVidia's Fermi line of video cards, and rather than being aimed at gaming as the higher-end models are this model is intended for use in media playback and general usage systems. It has all the features of the Fermi line: DX11 compatibility, HDMI 1.4a (Blu-ray 3D capable), and CUDA. Asus' version of this card is passively-cooled, making it a silent card and a great option for HTPC use or any time an upgrade from integrated graphics is needed. It also has a wide range of video outputs: DVI, HDMI and VGA; any two of those can be used at the same time, allowing for affordable dual monitor setups. Compared to other passive GT 430s it also uses a smaller heatsink, which means less hardware conflicts and a better fit in many cases and motherboards.
