This card has four Mini DisplayPort connections, and includes adapters to DVI as well. Please note that if you are using those DVI adapters you will be limited to a lower maximum resolution (1920x1200).
This is a great card choice when you need to support many monitors for tasks like day-trading. This is not a very powerful graphics card. So if you have 3D demanding programs that you intend to run such as CAD / 3D modeling or Gaming, then you would want to choose a more powerful graphics card.
When choosing a graphics card, it is always important to make sure the monitor(s) that you intend to use will have compatible connection types with the graphics card outputs.
Keep in mind that if you use the Mini DP to DVI adapters, the maximum resolution from those DVI adapters will be 1920x1200.
*Important: When using mini DisplayPort-to-singlelink DVI adapters, quad output is divided into two pairs (displays 1 and 2 and displays 3 and 4). The displays used in each pair must be identical (with the same manufacturer and model number) and must be identically configured (with the same resolution).
