Puget Custom Computers is pleased to offer repair services for computers not provided by Puget or computers that are outside warranty. While this service is mainly attractive to our local Seattle clients, we are happy to repair your computer if you ship it to us, as well. Our rates are hourly, and an estimate of common costs are listed below. When you bring in your computer for diagnosis, we are able to give you a more accurate estimate. We have a diagnosis fee of $35 that you can apply towards your repair costs. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a repair, just give us a call or drop us an email!

* Services are shown in order from most to least likely. More than one service may be required to fix the problem. Problems with more than one problem may also need a longer time to diagnose.
The typical diagnosis time needed is 24 hours, but a rush diagnosis can be performed while you wait for a $100 fee, between the hours of 10am-6pm M-F. Normal repair time is 3-5 business days, and a rush repair can be performed within 24 hours for a $100 fee. Rush services are limited by the parts we have in stock, and is therefore not guaranteed to be available for all systems.

 Vista Upgrade Services
Do you have a computer with Windows XP or 2000 and want to upgrade to the new Windows Vista operating system? Puget Custom Computers is pleased to offer our Windows Vista upgrade service, including:
- Evaluation: Given that Windows Vista has specific hardware requirements, we will check your system to ensure compatibility with Windows Vista.
- Recommendation: If hardware upgrades are needed, we will take into account your budget and performance needs to recommend the best solutions to get your system up to date. We can then provide you with those parts and upgrade your system.1
- Data Back-Up: To protect you from data loss, we will back up your My Documents and Desktop folders and then transfer that data back to your computer upon installation of Windows Vista.2
- Installation: We will perform a complete installation of Windows Vista.3 This includes finding and installing all necessary drivers for your hardware.
- Testing: In order to ensure proper performance, we will fully test your system and make sure there are no problems before returning the computer.
