A customer came to Puget Systems via a referral in search of a high-end, water-cooled, overclocked, six-core gaming system.

He researched other custom builders such as Falcon Northwest and Alienware before deciding on Puget Systems. "I consider myself pretty computer savvy and my friend even more so. That combined with everything I saw listed on the web page and reading reviews lead me to believe I was making the right choice."

Not only would he need a cooling solution for an overclocked i7 3930k, but would also one that would accommodate the NVIDIA GTX 690.

Jeff worked with the customer to determine the best components for his needs that include a lot of gaming along with some DVR and video conversion tasks.

The thoughtful choice of components and planning resulted in a 58C temperature reading on the overclocked 3930k and a very low 38C on the high-end NVIDIA GTX 690.
