Customer Showcase – Utah State University
This year at GTC we will be showcasing one of our customers and their project that utilized photogrammetry, virtual reality and rendering. The Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning department at Utah State used Puget Systems workstations to process drone imagery in Pix4D. The images were used to create a point cloud, mesh and then 3d model to be manipulated in virtual reality for architecture planning in the department’s help with the Powder Mountain Project there in Utah. Puget Systems workstations were also used in tandem with Vive’s for the VR modeling as well as the image processing.
