Intel has launched an update to its popular Core X line of high-end desktop processors. These 10000-series CPUs bring small improvements, like support for DDR4-2933 memory, but the big news is a substantial price drop compared to the previous models. For example, while the MSRP of the Core i9 9980XE was $1,979 the new Core i9 10980XE is just $979!
