Puget has moved to a warehouse!

Posted on July 31, 2004 by Jon Bach

As we continue to grow, fitting into the space we've been in for the last two years has become a challenge! Last week, we took care of this problem as we moved into a new warehouse! Our new place gives us three times the space as we has before, and will be much more flexible as we grow and grow!

Thank you for your patience as we moved. Now that we're settled in, we're back to our normal schedule, and ready to build your computer!

Now it's time for pictures! We're not completely set up yet (especially in back), but we're looking good enough for public viewing at least!

View from the parking lot:

That's it for now! I'll be sure to post more pictures when the back of the space is complete, there's still a lot to be done there.

For those of you in Seattle, feel free to stop by anytime during business hours! We're happy to be completely available to the public with this new space!

I've gotta come by and see it sometime this week! Can't wait :)

Thanks for the photos! It looks like a great set-up! I also think it's terrific that you share such an up-close and personal view of the inner workings of PCC with your customers. :thumbsup If I'm ever in the Seattle area, I'll be sure to stop by.

That's sweeeeet! Those quad-monitor setups are dead sexy! :-D

Looking good. I have to say though, as a former office guy I am not surprised that the only desk with papers on it has a mountain dew right next to the keyboard. :rofl

Looks like a very flexible space with enough room to expand for some time to come. I counted ~24 boxes there that looked to be cases, that is some order.

Awesome, you guys keep up the good work, from what I see here on your guys site, and the way you react with your customers, that you guys are going about this the right way. Good work! and cool setup!

Actually, it's 43, but who's counting :)

:thumbsup Not me apparantly. I only counted what I could see, damn those invisible boxes, damn them all.

Makes it tough to go home at the end of the day... To a *gasp* single monitor :shock

Makes it tough to go home

Then don't! :-D

I left before these guys last night, and came in after they did today. It was weird.

We just used all 12 monitors to play flight sim's while you were gone. :-D

I just wanted to say congratulations on your mammoth order! I hope you finished building the systems yesterday and lived to tell the tale! ;-)

Fortunately, you seem to be hale and hardy whippersnappers, so I'm sure you'll feel back to your old selves once you've had a few good meals, cast some clever spells, eluded some dragons, pondered some prophecies, doomed some aliens and transformed yourselves into cybernetically enhanced beings. :-D

Actually, funny you mentioned that. We have a man down after yesterday!

True story!

Posted on 2004-08-06 10:36:40

Do you mean a man down for real or in virtual (gaming) reality? If someone is sick or got hurt for real, I hope he gets better soon!!!

Yep, we heard from him this morning. He is fine, but I wish I could say the same for his appendix....I'm afraid they had to let it go.

Get well soon, Brad!

Posted on 2004-08-06 16:08:50

Yes Brad, hope recovery is quick and pain-free as possible!

Posted on 2004-08-06 17:37:19

How's Brad doing? I hope he's feeling better!

How'd you all like a good appendectomy story? OK, twist my arm. :-D

My grandpa was a young man back in the 1930s during the Great Depression. He lived in rural Ohio and had to hunt with the other men in his family to help keep food on the table. Well, one day when he was out hunting, he got an appendicitis attack. Unfortunately, he was also sprayed by a skunk. He smelled so bad that they had to wash him up with tomato juice before they could take out his appendix! :rofl

The space looks good... you just need one of those portable basketball hoops in the warehouse area...
