Servers Moved!

You may have noticed that pugetsystems.com was down last night and part of the day today. We moved from having servers in our warehouse on our T1 line, to colocated servers on a 100mbit data center. Our website should be better performing, and faster loading. Of course, it will take us a little while to optimize our site to the specific hardware of our new servers. So if you see anything slow, or of course if you see anything broken, please let us know. We *always* want to know if you find something broken!

I've been having intermittent trouble posting messages to the forum and sending PMs. I'll get an error code (next time it happens, I'll post the code), and then assume my post didn't go through. But then a few minutes later, I saw that it had gone through, along with a few duplicates. :shock The same thing happened with a PM. I think I sent someone four copies of the same message. They probably thought I was :loco . This was happening to me about 5-10 minutes ago, i.e. ~ 11:35 p.m. Eastern. I also tried sending you an e-mail since I didn't think I could post to the forum or send you a PM, and my e-mail wouldn't go through, either. But maybe, in fact, it did. ;-) Let me know.

I have gotten the same code. But the weird thing is that they always seem to go through so I dont really do anything when it happens.

Didn't get any email, but I think I know what the problem is on the forums. It is the part that emails out people notices that the thread has been updated....we'll get that fixed very soon!

I'm also very interested in seeing what the error message was for the email you sent -- maybe you could PM it to me? If you have a chance!

Well, ~ 1:15 a.m. Eastern, I sent you a test e-mail, which went through fine. Sorry I didn't log the exact error code I got. (I should know better!) Anyway, it was an SMTP error code, I believe telling me I'd encountered a fatal error and that the request couldn't be processed.

If I can ever reproduce the error, I'll let you know.
