NVIDIA Tesla P100 PCI-E 12GB (Passive) Main Picture

NVIDIA's Tesla P100 is built for GPU computing. It is based on the Pascal graphics chip, and is very similar to a video card - but with an emphasis on calculation performance rather than actually rendering graphics on a monitor. In fact, it doesn't have display outputs at all! Because of that, Tesla cards should ideally be paired with a professional-grade Quadro video card from the same generation to handle the actual display output. In the case of the P100, you would want to select a Quadro P-series graphics card to go with it.

By adding a Tesla processor to your workstation, you can take advantage of the newest analysis, simulation, and rendering tools within many industry-leading applications and see results from calculations in as little as half the time (compared to a video card alone). You can also accelerate some of the most complex tools exponentially faster than by adding a second CPU. It's a great solution for getting more done in less time, if your software can take advantage of it.

This is a passive (no fan) Tesla P100 card, and thus can only be used in cases which provide the necessary amount of airflow in the right location. If you want a Tesla but are unsure which of our systems support it, please contact our technology consultants.
