The G-RAID Thunderbolt 3 is a production-grade, two-drive, external disk array. It supports Thunderbolt 3 for great data throughput, and that standard also allows daisy-chaining multiple devices. G-Technology offers this model in capacities from 8 to 24TB, with this being the 16TB version. When used in the default RAID 0 mode that full capacity is available along with the highest performance - but if data protection is more important to you, switching to RAID 1 will give you redundancy at the cost of halving the storage space (to 8TB).
