A replacement system includes new operating system and storage drives which would require reinstalling applications and restoring from backups. Consult with our support team or check out our Support Guides for more information on recovery options.
The internals of these systems are tight and can be difficult to work in so we were pleased to be able to offer a full replacement warranty option with our smallest form factor systems. If you contact our technical support team and work through initial troubleshooting and confirm a hardware failure, you have the option to get an identical or better system sent to you as a replacement.
Note: Our latest NUC offering combines our standard lifetime tech support and labor warranties with an advanced replacement pledge. If a hardware failure occurs that we cannot solve remotely, we will send a replacement NUC of equivalent hardware or better.
