Thunderbolt Support Configuration for Adobe After Effects

If you want solid performance in After Effects, and need support for Thunderbolt storage or peripherals, this workstation with AMD's Ryzen 5000 series CPUs is currently among the best you can get. There are certainly more expensive CPU options available, and Ae can now utilize more cores to some degree - but this configuration still offers great price:performance and some features that may not be available on more workstation-class systems.

This platform supports up to 128GB of RAM, a range of NVIDIA graphics cards, and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports. 10G networking and a Blackmagic DeckLink video monitoring card are also available.

If you are not sure which hardware choice is right for you we recommend reading through the Recommended Hardware section. And as always, don't hesitate to contact one of our sales consultants if you require assistance or a hardware configuration that is not covered by our recommended systems.
