While most aspects of Nuke are single-threaded, there are some effects (especially particles) and plugins which can utilize more cores. Even more importantly, large projects and long timelines can often require substantial amounts of system memory. This AMD Threadripper Pro based system offers the highest core counts available, combined with up to 512GB of system memory.
Note that this platform does not currently support Thunderbolt. However, 10G networking is built-in and Blackmagic DeckLink cards are available options.
