This network-attached storage system from Synology supports up to eight 3.5-inch hard drives (HDDs) in a variety of RAID modes for redundancy and increased performance. It can connect to your network via built-in 1GbE and 10GbE ports, with additional networking available via an optional add-on NIC. There are also two M.2 slots for solid-state drives (SSDs) which can be used as high-speed cache for the main drive array.
