The NVIDIA Quadro K1200 is a low-profile, professional-grade video card. It has mid-range 3D performance, and specializes in multi-display situations thanks to four separate outputs. That means you can drive up to four displays by using only one card slot and driver, or stack multiple K1200 cards in a system to expand that to eight or even more outputs. It is perfect for stock/day traders or any other professional users who need multiple monitor support without high-end performance 3D graphics.

As described above, this card has four Mini DisplayPort connections - and includes adapters to full size DisplayPort and DVI as well. Please note that if you are using those DVI adapters you will be limited to a lower maximum resolution (1920x1200).

Jon Bach (President) Says:
This is a great, compact way to get quad monitor support. Or put two of them in your system for 8 monitor support!
Jeff Stubbers (Tier 3 Consulting Lead)
Jeff Stubbers (Tier 3 Consulting Lead) Says:
This is a great card choice when you need to support many monitors for tasks like day-trading. This is a moderately powerful graphics card, but if you have higher-end 3D demanding programs that you intend to run such as CAD or 3D modeling, then you would want to choose a more powerful graphics card.

When choosing a graphics card, it is always important to make sure the monitor(s) that you intend to use will have compatible connection types with the graphics card outputs.

Keep in mind that if you use the Mini DP to DVI adapters, the maximum resolution from those DVI adapters will be 1920x1200.

*Important: When using mini DisplayPort-to-Single-link DVI adapters, quad output is divided into two pairs (displays 1 and 2 and displays 3 and 4). The displays used in each pair must be identical (with the same manufacturer and model number) and must be identically configured (with the same resolution).

Accelerate your creativity with the NVIDIA Quadro K1200 - the world's most powerful workstation graphics for small form factor workstations. The NVIDIA Quadro K1200 offers incredible 3D application performance in a compact footprint. Its flexible single-slot and low-profile form factor makes it compatible with even the most space and power-constrained workstation chasses. 4 GB of GDDR5 GPU memory with fast bandwidth enables you to create large, complex 3D models, and an all-new display engine drives up to four displays natively with DisplayPort 1.2 support for true 4K resolutions like 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 30-bit color. Four mini-DisplayPort to DVI-D SL adapters are included to enable DVI or DisplayPort displays to be driven out of the box (four displays active simultaneously).

Designed and built specifically for professional workstations, NVIDIA Quadro GPUs power more than 200 professional applications across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, media and entertainment, sciences, and energy. Professionals trust them to realize their most ambitious visions- whether its product design, visualization and simulation, or spectacular visual storytelling-and get results to market faster.
