ASRock Z270M Extreme4 Schematic
In terms of connectivity, this board has VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs from the onboard graphics. For memory it has four DDR4 slots, allowing up to 64GB of RAM. Drive connectivity includes six SATA III ports and two M.2 slots for high-speed SSDs. It also has both analog and digital audio outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0, and two USB 3.1 (including one Type C port). Four PCI-Express slots in varying sizes are present, with support for both SLI and Crossfire.
This is a nice smaller Micro-ATX motherboard that allows for smaller case choices. However the down side is that it comes with less PCI-E expansion slots - a total of 4. If you would like more PCI-E expansion slots, you may want to consider the standard ATX sized Asus STRIX Z270E instead, which has 7 PCI-E slots.
