The Intel VROC Upgrade Key is a small hardware key which enables use of RAID across NVMe type drives on several Intel chipsets. This "Standard" version allows RAID modes 0, 1, and 10 on supported motherboards with Intel's X299, C422, and C621 chipsets. Not all motherboards with those chipsets include a header to connect the key to, however, so if you are unsure of whether this will work in the system you are purchasing please reach out to our technology consultants via phone or email.
