This Firewire cable connects a rear female Firewire port (6 pin) to the front panel I/O header. The cable exits through the PCI opening and is plugged into one of the IEEE 1394 ports located on the back of the PC. Alternately, this cable could be connected to the internal port (Firewire 6 pin male) of an add-on Firewire card.
