The Rockus 3D speaker system is made up of stereo speakers and a subwoofer (traditionally noted as a 2.1 setup) that is capable of mimicking 3D sound spaces in addition to providing great stereo audio for music playback. In addition to great sound quality and the advanced 3D features, the Rockus has both analog and digital inputs - meaning you can go digitally from a computer to these speakers, and avoid the sometimes lower-quality analog output of integrated audio on motherboards without needing to purchase a high-end sound card.
