MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Twin Frozr II
The GeForce GTX 560 Ti is nVidia's upgrade from the venerable GTX 460, offering a nice performance boost for a little bit higher cost and slightly increased power usage. Despite that, though, it is every bit as quiet as the GTX 460 - making this a fantastic performance choice for folks who want to maintain a low-noise system. The new 'Ti' suffix is intended to indicate a high-performance model, and we may see other GTX 560 variants in the future with focuses on other areas. In addition to improved performance, the GTX 560 Ti inherits the same traits and features of previous Fermi-based designs. It is excellent at maintaining good frame-rates in games, not dipping too low even in graphics-laden titles. SLI scaling is also very good on these cards, though not all cases can adequately cool two of them. It also supports CUDA, DX11, and nVidia's 3D Vision technology. This specific version of the GTX 560 Ti, from MSI, utilizes a dual fan setup for increased cooling at a lower noise level. It does a great job of cooling the video card, but because the bulk of the heat is not exhausted out the back of the card it can lead to slight temperature increases for other nearby components (CPU, chipset, etc).
