NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition 32GB PCI-E Main Picture

The RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition is a datacenter GPU from NVIDIA. As the name suggests, it uses their new Blackwell architecture and shares the same underlying design as the normal RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell - but with optimizations for use in rackmount servers instead of workstations. It also runs at slightly lower power, in order to fit in a single slot width, resulting in performance that averages around 90% of what the desktop variant provides.

Because it is designed for use exclusively in a server environment, this variant of the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell has a passive heatsink (no fan) and the DisplayPort connectors that are present are disabled (so there is no video output). This means that it is wholly dependent on cooling provided by the fans in the rackmount chassis in which it is installed. For systems where sufficient cooling is not available, or where video output is required, the standard version with a built-in fan is the way to go.
