This adapter card allows up to four U.2 NMVe solid-state drives to be installed in a system and connected to a single PCI-Express x16 slot. The slot must support PCIe lane bifurcation. In order to get full performance, it also needs to be PCIe Gen 4 or higher and running at full x16 speed. The U.2 drives will also need available bays in the chassis for mounting and appropriate cabling.
