Kingston's Fury Renegade Gen4 line of solid-state drives offer high-speed storage in a small package. These M.2 NVMe drives are built for PCI-Express 4 with very fast read and write performance. This 4TB model is rated for sequential read speeds up to 7.3GB/s and write speeds up to 7.0GB/s when used in a Gen4 slot. If used in a Gen3 slot instead, those maximum transfer rates drop roughly in half. Either way, real-world speeds will be lower and depend heavily on the application in use.
