Kingston's KC3000 line of NVMe solid-state drives offer high-speed storage in a small package. These M.2 NVMe drives are built for PCI-Express 4 with very fast read and write performance. They are virtually identical to the Fury Renegade series, also from Kingston, but with firmware tuned to slightly less aggressive speeds. This 4TB model is rated for sequential read speeds up to 7GB/s and write speeds up to 7GB/s when used in a Gen4 slot. If used in a Gen3 slot instead, those transfer rates drop roughly in half. Either way, real-world speeds will be lower and depend heavily on the application in use.
Note: Good all around PCIe Gen 4 NVME M.2 drive. Running on the Phison E18 controller with 3D TLC NAND.
Model: Kingston SKC3000D/4096G
