ASRock Rack TURIND8X-2T/500W

The TURIND8X-2T/500W motherboard from ASRock Rack utilizes AMD's EPYC 9005 processor platform to provide a huge number of PCI-Express slots. The trade-off to accomplish that is a reduced number of RAM slots: only 8, when this class of processor can support 12 memory channels. That makes this particular motherboard ideally suited to workloads where PCIe support - especially multiple GPUs - is more important that pure CPU or memory performance.

In terms of connectivity, there are the eight aforementioned PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, though one is only capable of x8 speeds. Almost all of the system's resources are focused on those, leaving just two M.2 slots and two MCIO connectors for storage, a small handful of USB 3.0 ports, dual 10GbE for networking, and a remote management port.
