AMD's Radeon 9070 XT is a consumer graphics card designed to compete with team green's RTX 5070. As the first model in this generation, based on the RDNA 4 architecture, AMD has implemented a number of high-level improvements that should boost performance across a variety of use cases. Among those features are upgraded ray tracing (RT) cores, an enhanced Media Engine for video encoding and decoding, and better upscaling with FSR4, to name just a few. 16GB of video memory is paired with the GPU, bringing that specification on par with the RTX 5070 Ti. Most versions of the Radeon 9070 XT use a multi-fan cooling layout, which is a great approach for keeping these cards cool and relatively quiet. Some larger cases may also be able to fit two of these, depending on the physical size of the card and the chassis itself.
Finally, in regards to connectivity, there are two HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 2.1 plugs supporting a total of up to four displays at a maximum resolution of 7680x4320 (8K).
