Puget Systems Selects MSI as a Premier Server Systems Supplier

New Partnership Heightens Focus on Quality, Uniformity, and Forward-Thinking Technology for the Custom Server Business; Furthers Puget Systems’ Goal to Create More Scalable, Unified Server Solutions Ecosystem

Auburn, WA (April 7, 2026) – Puget Systems (www.pugetsystems.com) today announced it has selected MSI, a global leader in high-performance server solutions, as one of its premier server suppliers. This new partnership enables Puget Systems to develop a more scalable and unified server ecosystem, while simultaneously and immediately broadening its range of offerings, all the way from entry-level 1U systems up to high-end, high-scale AI data center deployments.

Central to Puget Systems’ selection of MSI is the alignment of design values prioritized  by both companies. Both companies share a priority focus on forward-thinking technology, while also placing quality and reliability at the forefront of every server system designed and shipped to customers.

As a result of this relationship, Puget Systems is expanding its use of the OCP-driven DCMHS standard in server platforms, enabling component uniformity and simplifying support across the portfolio.

New Additions to the Puget Systems Server Family

Beginning immediately, Puget Systems is significantly expanding its server solutions, leveraging key components from MSI. This first phase of its server solution expansion strategy will bring 11 new servers to the Puget Systems server portfolio, over the coming weeks. Some of these will replace existing Puget models, though a few of those will remain in their product line..

Details of the first phase of Puget Systems server solution expansion strategy with MSI include:

  • 1U Dense Compute Servers: Puget Systems is introducing four new 1U models for dense CPU compute – each with 12 front bays for NVMe storage. Single- and dual-CPU configurations are available for both AMD EPYC™ 9005 and Intel® Xeon® 6. These systems will advance existing platforms to the current generation of CPU’s, and sit alongside the existing EPYC™ 4005 Series server added late last year.
  • 2U Mixed Use Servers: In the 2U space, Puget Systems is now offering more diverse options, including models that mirror the 1U line: single- and dual-CPU versions for both Intel and AMD, but with up to double the storage capacity. These offerings are especially well suited for use as storage servers, or for situations where customers want to leave room for more drives to be added easily over time.
  • 2U Mainstream GPU Servers: With the added space and cooling that a 2U chassis provides, Puget Systems is now offering high-performance GPUs to the mix. Options will include:
    • 2U Dual GPU options from both Intel and AMD with support for 300W GPUs (and a planned upgrade to  support 600W GPUs in the future)
    • 2U Quad GPU solutions for NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition cards
    • 2U Quad GPU solutions for NVIDIA L40S and NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition cards

Future Additions

These new models are just the first wave of improvements for Puget Systems’ server line in 2026. Over the coming months, Puget Systems will be refreshing its selection of 4U 8-GPU models, including options with support for NVIDIA® ConnectX®-8 SuperNIC networking, and adding multi-node CPU servers for higher-density deployments. Puget Systems will also update some of the GPU-focused 2U systems to high-power variants as described above.
