I ordered here because of the ability to configure in detail. I didn’t need speakers, monitor, etc. but I WAS interested in customizing down to little details. I dislike when the “big guys” (the competition) force you into a Celeron based system with onboard video that steals system RAM. Then they include a $3 mouse and $4 speakers and jack the price up. None of that stuff here! The systems arrived in a very timely manner, configured as ordered, along with the important stuff: Driver CDs and component manuals. Jon was very helpful and continues to rapidly answer my questions. I ordered two systems and they scream. From start to finish I am very happy with their customer focus and their knowledge. Price here is a great value. I probably could have gotten a few bucks off some of the components if I shopped around but I’m sure the bargain companies would not be as responsive as Jon was to me. There was one Sunday evening I was getting e-mail replies from Jon at 10:30 PM! I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone and I will return again someday for another purchase, but not too soon, according to my wife.

Great company to do business with. The prices are hands down lowest you’ll find for this type of service, especially with the “big boys” of the business. Jon put together a great machine for me, and accomadated the speakers I was looking for with no problems (they weren’t listed here as options). Had no major issues after getting the machine, and any minor ones were taken care of easily and quickly (even though I live across the country from Washington). I’ll definitely point any friends or family looking for a new machine this way. Thanks Jon.

Your interface is awesome! I have never seen a custom computer website that you let people ask for a machine without keyboard, mouse, OS, speakers, etc. Your system builder workflows are easy to use, functional and customer oriented. Now if I can just get my wife to let me spend the money now that I have finally found what I really want!

Rating: 10+++ Why?: Excellent response to questions before buying. Computer customized exactly how I wanted it. Good prices (I price-checked everything and found most prices very reasonable – especially since Jon configures, updates and tests everything). I built my last computer – not worth it for the time/headaches – let Jon build it for you! If you don’t believe me, go to Tom’s Hardware and do your homework. By the way…my new computer RIPS!!! Thank you!

THe new layout is fine. I was never a fan of the blue backgorund. But one fact that really does bother me is that on a 800 x 600 resolution, you have to use the horizontal resize button to see all the text. I wish that the most common resolution isn’t discriminated against!

PS. I am very happy you added support for Mozilla!

It was nice to find a company that is both knowlegable about their products, and very customer oriented. I would (and will) recomend Puget Custom Computers to anybody that is interested in getting the most for their money.

I was very satisfied with my whole experience at Puget Custom Computers. From the website, to the phone support, to the customized system and updates online. Jon Bach even called me a couple of times to resolve issues during the setup and installation. When I had a small question regarding a video driver, he emailed me a thorough explanation with links to all the software drivers I needed. Jon came through on every thing he said. The equipment was here and running on the day he said it would be done. He even installed an OS using my serial number to test the drivers, etc. The only reason I did not give Puget a 10 out of 10 rating is because I saw the cordless keyboard and mouse I ordered at Staples for $20 less the next day. Though I know one would never get the support, service, and care at Staples.

I’ve already offered positive feedback on the purchase I made from Puget. This entry is for the patient and thorough customer support offered by Jon Bach. He offers knowlegable and effective hardware AND software support. Thanks again, Jon!

Jon Bach almost bent over backwards to help pick out the best system possible for my wants and needs.. Thanks to him I now have a computer that won’t freeze on me like my old Hewlett Packard system.
