WARNING: Submerging your hardware in mineral oil will void your warranty. Do this project only at your own risk. Puget Systems is not liable for any hardware problems, or damage to your personal property. Minerial oil is very difficult, if not impossible to clean from your components once they are submerged.

Cooling Module

If you already have an aquarium, and simply need to increase your cooling capacity, you can buy the cooling module as an add-on. We suggest buying the two together, since we can handle all of the assembly for you. However, if you are unsure as to whether you need the cooling module, it may be worth trying your system without the cooling module first, and seeing how it does!.

Delivery Time: typically ships in 3-7 business days.

Cost: $289.75
Includes:

Quick disconnects

Magicool Xtreme Quad 480 Radiator

Submerged Mounting bracket
Mounts in a PCI bay, and allows the radiator to be easily removed for maintenance or transportation, and allows an oil filter to be installed in-line if desired. Attached with quick disconnect tubing to the aquarium, this radiator can easily cool the most extreme setups we have used. Allows items such as SSD hard drives, water pumps, and just about anything else to be mounted submerged in the oil. Includes all necessary screws.

SATA/Power Pass Through

Submerged Pump w/ 10mm barbs

To run non-SSD hard drives outside the oil, this adapter is necessary if you do not have eSATA on your motherboard. It also provides molex power to the fans on the radiator. To drive the oil through the radiator, a pump is submerged in the oil, for quiet operation.

Includes all tubing, adapters, mod work, and assembly. This work is quite extensive, and is not done if you purchase each component separately from our parts store. It is recommended you purchase this module only in conjunction with our aquarium module, to allow us to provide as final a product as possible.

Does NOT Include (but you might want):

Cold Cathode Lights

120mm Fans

The aquarium kit has been specifically designed to allow for the mounting of cold cathode lights to the top of the system, shining down into the oil. Mounting holes provide convenient attachment. Since there is a wide variation of 120mm fans to choose from, we do not include any with the kits, but rather allow you to order them separately to suit your tastes. The radiator can accomodate four 120mm fans.
