Puget Bench for Unreal Engine
Puget Systems is announcing Puget Bench for Unreal Engine, a new real-world benchmark designed to help Unreal Engine users evaluate and optimize workstation performance.
What is Puget Bench?
Puget Bench is a benchmark suite that evaluates workstation performance inside of professional applications, like Unreal Engine, using a combination of automated tests and real-world project workflows. It is designed to answer practical questions users face every day:
- Will a new CPU or GPU improve my workflow?
- Which hardware matters most for my type of work?
- Is my current system performing correctly?
- How does my workstation compare to modern hardware?
Unlike synthetic tests that focus on isolated metrics, Puget Bench is intended to represent production-oriented workloads and provide actionable performance data. You can read more about our approach to benchmark design for Unreal Engine in this blog post.
Unreal Fest Announcement & Demo
The first public demonstration of Puget Bench for Unreal Engine will take place at Unreal Fest 2026 in Chicago, IL. Attendees will be able to learn about the benchmark, see demonstrations of the benchmark workflows, sign up for the beta program, and provide feedback on future benchmark development.
We will also be showing off some other cool projects at Unreal Fest, so make sure to stop by our booth between the Swag Store and Gaming Lounges. If you can’t make it this year, check for coverage of the announcements on our social media channels.
Puget Bench Beta Program
The beta version of Puget Bench for Unreal Engine is expected to be available in late Q3 or early Q4 of 2026. A full release date has not been set yet, and will be dependent on feedback received during the beta. If you are interested in participating in the beta, please fill out the waitlist form below and we will contact you when it is available:
