Background on Intel Xeon 6

Intel's Xeon 6 processors are server-grade CPUs focused on high core counts and efficient performance. They are available in vairiants with either P- or E-cores, depending on whether your workload needs higher per-core speeds or a greater total number of cores. All models support DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0.

This Xeon is a variant with a higher number of PCI-Express lanes, for use in servers with a single CPU socket but which still need a lot of connectivity for GPUs, networking, and high-speed storage.

It also supports a feature called Priority Core Turbo, which allows 8 cores to boost to higher clock speeds. This can be helpful for GPU-heavy workloads where just a few CPU cores are needed to keep the cards fed with data, and that extra speed can help prevent them from becoming a performance bottleneck.
