The Samsung S27D850T is a 27-inch monitor built for a wide range of users who value higher resolution, from running business applications to content creation. It uses a resolution that is four times that of basic 720p HD: 2560x1440, which pairs nicely with the larger physical size of the screen. The panel itself is LED backlit, provides excellent viewing angles, and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut.
In addition, it has all three of the monitor connection types: DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort - and cables for all three are included. A USB 3.0 hub is built-in for easy connectivity of high-speed peripherals and the included stand allows for easy height adjustment. This monitor provides a very nice 2560x1440 resolution. This means you have more screen real estate to work with - allowing more side by side programs to be displayed. This monitor provides inputs of DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort 1.2. The HDMI input is HDMI 1.4 compatible so you can do the full 2560x1440 resolution with an HDMI cable - provided your are connecting to a graphics card that has HDMI 1.4 output or higher. Otherwise, you could always use dual-link DVI or DisplayPort connections.
