The MSI MPG B550I Gaming Edge WiFi is a compact motherboard for AMD's 3rd generation Ryzen processors. The small ITX form factor means there is far less space available on the board compared to larger systems, but despite its size it manages to pack lots of features and connectivity.
Internally, there are two full-size memory slots, four SATA ports, two M.2 connectors, and a PCI-Express x16 slot that can be used for a full size GPU or other expansion card (provided the chassis is large enough). Externally, this board provides a wide range of connections: analog and digital audio output, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 2.5Gb Ethernet, and six total USB ports, including one USB Type C. There is also a HDMI output, but that only works with CPUs that include built-in graphics... and none of AMD's higher-end Ryzen models have that feature.

William George (Marketing Project Manager) Says:
A couple of oddities about this board are worth noting, but shouldn't impact most users:
- The HDMI connection on this motherboard only works with CPUs that have built-in graphics, but the higher-end Ryzen chips we carry don't support that feature (since almost everyone uses a dedicated video card)
- The onboard NIC does not support Linux, so users of that OS will want to have a dedicated network card added
