The Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 is a M.2 wireless networking adapter, which uses the same form factor as many built-in WiFi modules on motherboards. However, unlike most of those bundled modules, this one offers some level of compatibility with Linux! Not all features and frequency bands are supported in all distros, but for the standard Ubuntu versions we offer here at Puget Systems it provides a basic level of wireless connectivity that boards with other WiFi modules wouldn't otherwise have.

William George (Go-To-Market (GTM) Manager) Says:
There is quite a bit of work involved in swapping out WiFi modules on some motherboards, as they are often situated behind other components and thus require removal of heatsinks and shrouds to access. Because of that, an additional service line item for the labor time involved swapping the stock WiFi module may be required.

Note: This WiFi module is natively supported by Ubuntu, unlike the module bundled with the motherboard. For wireless networking in Linux, please select this and the WiFi / BT Replacement option under Services.
