For Episode 1, hosts Nicki Sun and Houston Bennett turn the mic on their own boss. Jon Bach founded Puget Systems in December 2000 to help pay for college.
Twenty-five years later, he sits on Intel’s Board of Advisors, and the company he built out of a house near SeaTac now powers VFX pipelines, scientific research, and some of the most demanding workflows in the industry.
Jon talks about hand-building systems nobody else would sell, the four values that quietly run the company (mission, relationships, transparency, quality), why Puget Labs publishes benchmark data for free, and his take on where AI hardware is actually headed.
